HOW DO I PLACE THE ORDER?
CAN I PURCHASE PRESCRIPTION LENSES?
Prescription Add-on must be purchased together with one pair of Mari & Clay sunglasses. We recommend a prescription range of SPHERICAL +3.00~-3.00 and CYLINDRICAL up to -1.00. Any prescription beyond this range will require more specific measurements at an optical store. Therefore we are currently not accepting prescriptions outside of this range. Please email us if you have any questions about your prescription.
HOW LONG DOES THIS TAKE?
Your glasses will usually be ready in 3-4 weeks from the order placement. In the event of a delay at the local lens lab, we'll get in touch to advise an updated delivery estimate. During peak periods (such as Christmas) or sale periods, delays may occur.
DO I NEED A SPECTACLE PRESCRIPTION?
Yes, it is your responsibility to provide a valid spectacle prescription to us which you can obtain from your local optometrist. We require your spectacle prescription, expiry date of the prescription, and your pupillary distance. Each prescription is reviewed by a qualified Optometrist before processing to ensure it is valid. If there are any problems, we will get in touch with you at the email address provided on your order. Incomplete or incorrect information will unfortunately cause delays to our standard shipping time.
WHAT'S A PUPILLARY DISTANCE (PD)?
Pupillary distance (PD) is the distance in millimetres between your pupils and we need this to make your lenses accurately. If your PD is not on your prescription, you should request it from your optometrist.
DO YOU DO MULTIFOCAL, BIFOCAL LENSES?
Not at this stage. These lenses generally require more specific measurements, therefore we encourage you to take Mari & Clay sunglasses to your local optometrist for lens fitting.
DO YOU OFFER HEALTH FUND REBATES?
When you shop on Mari & Clay as a health fund member, you can claim your optical rebate on prescription eyewear. You must check with your health insurance provider first to ensure that you are eligible for optical rebate.
